We’re on holiday from Friday! Hooray, a whole week with no work, no laptops and just lots of family fun. And arguments probably as we’re in a caravan with a five-year-old.
I cannot wait to get away, especially as we didn’t think we would be able to this year due to pandemics and setting up a business but we’re going!
Cal and I are packing the bags tomorrow, and cleaning the car out ready for our road trip! He’s so excited and I know he’ll have a great time.
I’ve managed to clear down all my work, schedule two book reviews (a third one to be done tomorrow when I’ve finished the book) and my inbox is looking pretty clear.
We’re off to, hopefully sunny, Scotland! We do have wellies and walking boots just in case!
I’ll be back in my office from the 6th September ready for another week of freelancing, networking and trying to figure out why my desk is constantly messy.
Back to school.
Once we get back, Cal is straight back to school - well after the weekend - and he’ll be in Year 1! I can’t believe how much time has flown and how big he’s getting. He loves school and has missed his friends so I’m excited for him! He has all his new uniform, school shoes and even a new water bottle (I definitely didn’t lose the last one, no siree!).
Hope all new school starters, returners and high-schoolers have a great first few days back and settle in well!
Book reviews!
Just wanted to shout out about book reviews. I have a book review blog over at bookswithgina.co.uk, go check it out for cool reviews and recommendations.
Currently reading:
Crown Prince by W.D Kilpack III
Listening to:
Shagged, Married, Annoyed by Chris and Rosie Ramsey.
Testimonial!
I recently got medical insurance with Vitality through the wonderful Rosie McGilvray, who is one of my networking friends. The process was quick, simple and free of jargon thanks to Rosie’s friendly and knowledgable approach. I’d highly recommend her. Let me know if you want her details.
Work
It’s been a busy few weeks with work, but I have loved it! I truly love doing this job and wouldn’t swap it. Follow me on LinkedIn or Facebook to find out more about what I do.
Finally…
I’d love to get more subscribers, so please feel free to share, subscribe and let me know if there’s anything you want to see in these. I’m completely new to all this so ideas are welcome!
